Placements & Revenue
Log every confirmed placement here. The placement record ties the candidate, the client, and the fee together and feeds the YTD revenue numbers on the Insights tab.
Logging a Placement

Click Placements in the top nav, then + New Placement.

Select the Candidate from the contacts list (type to search).

Select the Client account.

Enter the Job Title, Start Date, and Fee amount.

Set Invoice Status to Pending. Update to Paid when the ACH lands in the Relay account. Do not mark Paid when AP confirms it is in queue.

Click Save. The candidate's stage automatically moves to Placed.
Invoice rule: Only mark a placement Paid when the ACH lands in the Relay account. AP email confirmation means it is approved, not received. Premature marking inflates YTD revenue.
Placement Fields
| Field | Notes |

| Candidate | Must be an existing contact record. Create the contact first if needed. |
| Client | Links to the account. Determines owner attribution for reporting. |
| Fee | Gross fee in dollars. Do not subtract taxes or splits here. |
| Start Date | Candidate's first day, not the offer acceptance date. |
| Invoice # | Your internal invoice number (e.g., 2026-0208). |
| Invoice Status | Pending / ACH Confirmed / Paid |
YTD Revenue Tracker
The Insights tab and Reports section automatically sum all placements where Invoice Status is any value (pending or paid) to show gross pipeline. The Confirmed Revenue figure uses only Paid placements. Both numbers appear on the dashboard hero banner for the logged-in user.
